As a company who believes in providing for the greater community, Plus Solar Academy was established by Plus Solar to bridge the gap in solar photovoltaic (PV) education between classroom theories and real-life industry practices. Due to Plus Solar’s mission to build a positive environment for talent to grow, innovate and impact the energy revolution, Plus Solar Academy serves to educate and collaborate with institutions and professional bodies, reaching one community at a time.
PLUS SOLAR ACADEMY
The objectives of Plus Solar Academy include:
- Learning opportunities for university students.
- To date, Plus Solar Academy has recruited over 70 students for internship opportunities.
- Providing free solar workshops which includes an onsite visit.
- More than 3,300 students have attended these workshops in the past six (6) years nationwide since 2014.
- University collaboration for academic research purposes.
- Partner with universities to ensure educators stay abreast of today’s industry practices.
Whether the method of educational practice is an internship, public speaking opportunity or CSR, the basis of Plus Solar Academy is to act with passion and provide that opportunity to individuals who are willing to learn.
Lights of Hope
Established by Plus Solar, Lights of Hope is dedicated to assist individuals who are in need by providing them with the resources they need to have, to live sustainably. Lights of Hope will select a non-profit organization based on assessment and grant them with an instalment of a free solar PV system.
